Who We Are

The Mexican-American Hall of Fame Sports Association (MAHFSA) is a nonprofit (501 C-4) corporation, formed in 1973, to foster, encourage, promote, advance and create interest in the practice and enjoyment of sport activities among youth.

July 24, 2009 -- 11th Annual MAHFSA Scholarship Golf Tournament

The MAHFSA honors athletes that have distinguished themselves in the field of sports in the Sacramento Metropolitan Area by inducting them into the Mexican-American Sports Hall of Fame. Additionally, MAHFSA awards scholarships to high school senior athletes who will be pursuing higher education.

The Mexican American Hall of Fame Sports Association's building is available to the general public for functions and special events. Please call Pete Lovato at 421-1774 for additional information.


Long Range Goal

To acquire a larger facility/building where the MAHFSA can better serve the community and which will provide space for a place of honor for all past, present and future inductees.


Membership

Membership is opened to all civic minded individuals who want to give something back to the community and who share the interests, values and goals of the MAHFSA as expressed and explained throughout our website. If you are interested in becoming a member, you are cordially invited to fill out and send in the MAHFSA membership application for consideration.
